the second release from leipzig based rose records comes with tracks by m.ono, luvless and martin hayes. once again a strictly limited vinyl-only edition of 250 numbered copies.

the tribute series unearths yet another slice of musical magic for those special dance floor moments. number 6 in the series, we love rose, captures familiar sounds, but then pushes them out to as yet unexplored territory. rumoured to be the work of an aussie based late nite tuff guy, he has certainly reworked this all time classic into something very special for your ears. cut loud on single-sided heavy vinyl, you can enjoy it on the beach, in the basement, or on any kind of dance floor.

terence: terry’s record label la vie en rose gets set to re-release the huge hit >key of love< for the third release on the label, also featuring a rework from u s h and a remix from hold youth aka seuil and le loup.>key of love< was released for the first time back in 2002 on the label d-note by sleaze, which was made up of u s h and greg. it graced the dance floors of all the best underground clubs from ibiza (dc10) to paris (zebra) and it also featured on >kwality<, the ralph lawson and dan ghenacia compilation, gaining further popularity. limited copies were pressed so it quickly became a favourite for the vinyl collector.

true soul brings together two london based producers in ues and alex magno. having released and remixed as individuals, the destination house ep brings the two friends together with a double-header of choice house cuts. you can feel the warmth flooding from barbados.elegantly deep, its simple bassline throbs like a musical heartbeat as the rasping hi-hat pierce the ever-present blanket of the single note synth. destination house comes outta the oldschool. warm bass, crisp percussion and smooth key stabs are matched with a persuasive vocal sample and some downtown traffic to create a fresh cut that tips its hat to the past. stepping up on the remix is young dutch talent tom ruijg, who sets about polishing his own version of destination house in some style. adding a little more muscle and holding the keys till the final third, tom rounds out the ep in style.

solid as it should be, a chuggy serious drive is shown, combined with well constructed raw hats loops. a very smooth disco influence is noticed on the vocal cuts and a funky >lead padding< in the background. the hotcomer leland mcwilliams is showing his interpretation of the track in a funky and tribal way. percussions and a shakers, combined with a funky baseline and a short house lead.
